Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on DoD networks and systems
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for real-time threat detection
- Develop and implement incident response plans for cybersecurity breaches
- Ensure compliance with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and NIST standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into system development lifecycle
- Provide cybersecurity awareness training to personnel across multiple agencies
- Generate comprehensive security reports and risk mitigation recommendations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (security clearance required)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance
- Security+ CE, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent)
- Proficiency with network security tools (e.g., Splunk, Wireshark, Snort)
- Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
