Responsibilities
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Develop and implement incident response protocols for cyber threats
- Monitor security infrastructure using advanced SIEM tools
- Coordinate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Create security awareness training programs for federal employees
- Ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA security standards
- Manage security access controls and identity management systems
Qualifications
- GS-12 level experience in federal cybersecurity roles
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required
- 5+ years of experience in network security and threat detection
- Knowledge of federal security frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Experience with incident response and forensics tools
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
