Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for department records.
- Assist senior staff with the preparation of reports, meeting agendas, and presentation materials.
- Process and verify documents, ensuring compliance with government regulations and county policies.
- Monitor office supply inventory and coordinate with vendors for procurement.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure the daily operations of the office run efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in an office or customer service setting is preferred but not mandatory for this entry-level position.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn proprietary software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen as required for government employment.
