Responsibilities
- Process and maintain veteran benefit applications and documentation
- Coordinate communications between veterans, healthcare providers, and internal departments
- Manage digital filing systems and ensure compliance with federal record-keeping standards
- Assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and office logistics
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism
- Support data entry and reporting tasks using VA-specific software systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to pass federal background check and security clearance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
