Responsibilities
- Perform general office duties including data entry, filing, and answering incoming calls.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and organized records and databases for federal programs.
- Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry and processing.
- Communicate with internal staff and the public to provide information regarding agency programs and services.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and agency policies regarding document handling.
- Collaborate with team members to meet departmental goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for most federal positions.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
- Must be able to pass a background check and security clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to type 30-40 words per minute.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
