Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents in accordance with federal standards.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and greet visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
- Assist with data entry, maintaining accurate digital records, and updating databases.
- Prepare and format routine correspondence, memos, and reports using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Coordinate schedules for supervisors and arrange internal meetings.
- Order and maintain office supplies and manage inventory levels.
- Support the federal team with ad-hoc administrative projects as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred but not mandatory (training provided).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or hold permanent residency status.
- Willingness to undergo a standard background check and security clearance process.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
