Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume correspondence, including drafting, editing, and routing official federal communications.
- Coordinate complex calendars for senior federal officials, scheduling meetings and arranging travel logistics.
- Maintain and organize confidential federal records, ensuring strict adherence to data privacy and retention policies.
- Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations for executive leadership and agency oversight boards.
- Process and track incoming and outgoing documentation, ensuring compliance with FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) and other regulatory standards.
- Assist in the procurement process by preparing purchase orders and tracking vendor deliverables.
- Act as the primary point of contact for visitors and stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and guidance.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Required for federal employment eligibility.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field preferred; High school diploma with equivalent federal experience considered.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience within a government or corporate setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and federal case management software.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft formal documents.
- Adaptability: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
