The Role
In this entry-level position, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the federal office. You will work closely with senior staff to manage data, prepare reports, and assist with administrative tasks critical to our mission.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of federal grant applications, compliance documentation, and regulatory filings.
- Conduct accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date records for the regional federal office.
- Communicate effectively with federal stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to resolve inquiries.
- Support the onboarding and orientation process for new federal personnel and interns.
- Perform quality assurance checks on federal reports, correspondence, and internal communications.
- Research and compile information on federal regulations, policies, and legislative updates.
- Coordinate logistics for federal meetings and ensure adherence to agency protocols.
Qualifications
- Citizenship Requirement: US Citizenship is mandatory for this position.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; High School Diploma with equivalent experience will be considered.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with database management systems.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Attributes: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or a related field is a plus.
