Responsibilities
- Provide tier-1 and tier-2 technical support for federal agency networks, hardware, and software applications.
- Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of IT systems to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Perform data entry, analysis, and reporting to support federal program objectives and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical manuals.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend security improvements.
- Respond to user inquiries and tickets in a timely, professional manner.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a Public Trust Security Clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field. (High school diploma with 3 years of specialized IT experience will also be considered).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical personnel.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently or as part of a team.
