Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support including document preparation, scheduling, and record management
- Assist with public inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and cultural competence
- Manage departmental databases and ensure accurate data entry in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Coordinate meeting logistics, prepare agendas, and maintain official departmental records
- Support grant application processes and compliance documentation for state/federal funding
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on community outreach initiatives and public service projects
- Adhere to all government protocols, confidentiality standards, and ethical guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field preferred
- 0-2 years of administrative experience, government or nonprofit background highly desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Basic knowledge of public sector operations and governmental procedures
- Valid Georgia driver's license may be required for occasional off-site duties
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States
