Responsibilities
- Assist the office staff with data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate digital and physical records.
- Answer incoming phone calls and greet visitors, providing exceptional customer service to the public.
- Prepare, compile, and distribute correspondence, reports, and memos.
- Support the team in organizing and scheduling meetings and administrative events.
- Conduct basic research and assist in the preparation of presentations for departmental meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all city regulations and office protocols regarding document management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain organized filing systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Must be a resident of New York State (per government hiring requirements).
