Responsibilities
- Process and review public assistance applications and documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain accurate and confidential digital and physical records in accordance with county regulations.
- Assist visitors and residents with general inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Perform general clerical duties including data entry, filing, and scanning.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations of the department.
- Monitor supply levels and assist in ordering office materials as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible for citizenship under federal law.
- Reliable transportation and valid ID are required.
