Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to federal employees via phone, email, and in-person.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripherals including laptops, printers, and VPNs.
- Maintain accurate records of all IT incidents, tickets, and resolutions in the Service Desk system.
- Assist with network administration tasks, including patch management and system updates.
- Ensure compliance with federal security protocols and data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or related technical role (entry level candidates welcome).
- Skills: Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship required).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in San Antonio, TX.
