Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to federal employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, printers, and network peripherals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all IT support tickets, service requests, and inventory logs.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement security protocols, patch management, and system updates.
- Conduct regular system checks and perform preventative maintenance to ensure network reliability and data security.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a suitable Federal background clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, or basic networking concepts is highly desirable.
