Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and track incoming service requests and tickets through the helpdesk system.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices, including laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with senior staff to diagnose complex technical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of technical procedures and user interactions.
- Participate in ongoing IT training to stay current with emerging technologies and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; internship or academic project experience is a plus.
- Skills: Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows/macOS). Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse users.
