Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex IT projects from conception through deployment, ensuring alignment with state standards and budget constraints.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for network infrastructure, hardware, and software systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and optimize existing workflows.
- Ensure strict compliance with cybersecurity protocols, data privacy regulations, and government IT policies.
- Conduct system audits and performance assessments to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Mentor junior IT staff, providing guidance on technical best practices and professional development.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT project management or systems administration.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and cloud-based solutions (Azure/AWS).
- Experience with government IT frameworks and procurement processes is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel between state facilities as required.
