Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive requirements analysis and feasibility studies for complex state IT projects.
- Design and architect scalable software solutions using modern methodologies and best practices.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects within the Agile framework.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendor management and system integration with external partners.
- Ensure all systems comply with federal and state security standards, including HIPAA and FOIA regulations.
- Develop detailed documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and architectural diagrams.
- Perform code reviews and conduct system testing to ensure quality assurance and operational stability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Expert knowledge of SQL database management and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and government officials.
