Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of end-user workstations and mobile devices.
- Manage and update IT asset inventory records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical staff through written documentation and verbal instruction.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to resolve escalated technical issues and implement solutions.
- Ensure strict adherence to state cybersecurity policies and data privacy regulations.
- Monitor help desk ticket queues and prioritize requests based on business impact.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Must be eligible to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
