Responsibilities
- Maintain athletic fields, playgrounds, and park grounds through mowing, trimming, raking, and litter removal.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, picnic shelters, and park facilities.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of community events, sports leagues, and recreational programs.
- Monitor park grounds to ensure visitor safety and report maintenance issues or code violations.
- Interact positively with park visitors, providing directions, answering questions, and resolving minor complaints.
- Operate light maintenance equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- Valid Georgia Driver's License is a plus but not strictly required.
- Basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
