Key Duties:

• Maintain and clean park facilities, restrooms, playgrounds, and pavilions to ensure high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, raking, and planting flowers and shrubs.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of community events, sports leagues, and recreational programs.
• Monitor park grounds to ensure compliance with rules and regulations; enforce safety measures.
• Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, and vandalism to supervisors immediately.
• Operate and maintain light power equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping, facility maintenance, or janitorial practices is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with the public and other city employees.
• Reliable transportation is preferred.
