Responsibilities
- Maintain and care for public parks, playgrounds, and recreational facilities.
- Perform landscaping duties including mowing, raking, planting, and weeding.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of community events and sports leagues.
- Monitor park grounds for safety hazards, litter, and maintenance needs.
- Clean and sanitize park restrooms and visitor centers.
- Operate light landscaping equipment and vehicles safely.
- Interact positively with park visitors and enforce park rules.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or customer service is preferred.
- Ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and machinery.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
