Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental compliance audits for commercial and residential developments
- Manage stormwater pollution prevention programs for municipal infrastructure
- Analyze environmental data using GIS mapping and statistical software
- Develop public outreach materials for sustainable practices campaigns
- Coordinate with state agencies on regulatory compliance reporting
- Lead field investigations for environmental contamination incidents
- Prepare grant proposals for environmental improvement projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
- 3+ years of environmental compliance experience
- Certification in Stormwater Management (CPESC preferred)
- Proficiency in ArcGIS and environmental data analysis software
- Strong written communication skills for technical reports
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean record
- Experience with local government regulations
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and conduct fieldwork in various weather conditions
