Responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, and arrange travel for federal staff.
- Process incoming correspondence, including FOIA requests and internal memos, ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems for departmental operations and compliance audits.
- Prepare and edit reports, briefings, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Assist in the onboarding of new personnel and manage timekeeping and leave requests.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding administrative inquiries.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship: Mandatory requirement for this federal role.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience within a government or federal contracting environment.
- Experience with federal regulations, procurement processes, or timekeeping systems (e.g., Defense Travel System, JFMIP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft professional correspondence.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain a Public Trust clearance.
