Responsibilities
- Process and maintain complex benefit claims documentation with 99% accuracy
- Manage confidential case files and sensitive personal information under HIPAA/PRIVACT guidelines
- Coordinate communications between claimants, attorneys, and medical professionals
- Analyze eligibility requirements for federal programs using SSA regulations
- Prepare detailed correspondence and reports for senior leadership review
- Utilize CMS and SSA databases for claims verification and status updates
- Train new staff on administrative procedures and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years federal administrative experience with claims processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal databases (CMS, SSA)
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- Expert knowledge of federal regulations (Title 42 CFR, 20 CFR)
- Exceptional written communication skills for formal correspondence
- Experience with FOIA requests and privacy act compliance
