Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, photocopying, and data entry with high accuracy.
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate departments and take detailed messages.
- Compose, type, and distribute emails and internal memos to ensure smooth communication.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and arranging conference rooms.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including certified and express packages.
- Update and maintain accurate office records and filing systems in compliance with federal standards.
- Support senior staff with special projects and ad-hoc administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Some college coursework is preferred but not mandatory.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public and coworkers.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
