Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential veteran records using federal databases
- Coordinate complex scheduling for multi-departmental meetings and events
- Process travel authorizations, expense reports, and procurement requests
- Develop and implement office procedures to enhance operational efficiency
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare official correspondence, reports, and briefings for senior leadership
- Monitor and track budget expenditures using federal financial systems
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in federal/government setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of federal records management regulations (FISMA, FOIA)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field preferred
- Experience with VA-specific systems (Vista, VBA) highly desirable
