Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit applications and documentation using VA systems (VBMS, VBA)
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and databases while adhering to federal privacy regulations
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professional communication
- Prepare reports and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite
- Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance veteran experiences
- Support outreach programs for underserved veteran communities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in federal/government setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Knowledge of federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, Privacy Act)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- Experience with VA or DoD systems preferred
