Responsibilities
- Manage and organize high-volume incoming and outgoing federal correspondence and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems in compliance with federal record-keeping standards.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings for federal leadership, including preparing agendas and taking detailed minutes.
- Process travel requests, expense reports, and procurement orders for departmental staff.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and briefings for federal oversight committees.
- Act as the primary point of contact for visitors and external agencies at the New York facility.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a government, legal, or high-volume corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government-specific databases.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance (background check required).
