Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official federal records with precision and compliance
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and scheduling for leadership
- Process personnel actions, travel authorizations, and procurement requests
- Analyze administrative data to prepare reports for senior leadership
- Implement and improve office procedures following federal regulations
- Serve as primary liaison for veterans and stakeholders regarding administrative inquiries
- Oversee budget tracking and expenditure documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of federal administrative experience
- Proficiency in federal procurement systems (e.g., GSA Advantage)
- Expert knowledge of VA policies and federal regulations (5 CFR, 38 CFR)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
