Responsibilities
- Manage classified document handling, filing, and security protocols in compliance with federal regulations
- Coordinate executive calendars, travel arrangements, and high-stakes interdepartmental communications
- Process personnel actions, onboarding, and security clearance documentation using SF-50 and eOPF systems
- Prepare official correspondence, reports, and briefing materials for senior leadership review
- Oversee procurement processes, budget tracking, and inventory management for assigned divisions
- Serve as primary liaison for FOIA requests and public information inquiries
- Maintain compliance with DHS policies, NARA standards, and federal HR regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required with ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Minimum 3 years federal administrative experience with GS-5/GS-7 equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and GSA systems
- Expert knowledge of federal HR procedures (eOPF, T&A, Leave Tracking)
- Certification in Records Management (e.g., NARA-authorized training)
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in high-pressure environments
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field preferred
- Experience with DHS-specific systems (e.g., MAXHR, ICE HRMS) highly desirable
