Responsibilities
- Manage complex scheduling, correspondence, and document processing for department leadership
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and meetings with internal/external stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with federal regulations (VA, OMB, and agency-specific policies)
- Analyze and report operational data using advanced Excel functions and federal reporting systems
- Serve as primary liaison between staff, veterans, and external partners
- Implement and improve administrative workflows for maximum efficiency
- Support budget tracking and procurement processes
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (mandatory for federal employment)
- Associate's degree or 60+ college credits (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years administrative support experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with federal records management and security protocols
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
