Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the federal office, ensuring adherence to strict regulatory standards and protocols.
- Prepare and review complex correspondence, reports, and memoranda for executive leadership and federal agencies.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meeting schedules, and conference logistics for senior personnel attending federal conferences.
- Maintain and organize confidential files and records, ensuring data security and easy retrieval for audit purposes.
- Assist in the procurement process by preparing purchase orders and tracking expenditures against federal budgets.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and professional communication.
- Perform data entry and analysis to generate weekly operational reports for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal or government administrative roles.
- In-depth knowledge of federal regulations, compliance standards (e.g., FAR, OMB Circulars), and office management best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with federal HRIS or case management software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft formal documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strict attention to detail.
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a favorable background investigation/security clearance are mandatory.
