Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Oversee daily administrative functions, including complex scheduling, correspondence management, and strict document control to ensure confidentiality.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and coordinate federal reports, policy briefings, and executive presentations with a focus on data accuracy and clarity.
- Logistics & Coordination: Facilitate inter-departmental communication and coordinate logistics for federal meetings, conferences, and site visits.
- Compliance & Records: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in accordance with federal compliance standards and privacy regulations (e.g., FERPA, OSHA).
- Procurement Support: Manage office inventory, process purchase orders for office supplies, and coordinate facility maintenance requests.
- Travel Administration: Assist in the processing of travel authorizations, itineraries, and expense reports for federal personnel.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional administrative experience, preferably within a federal, state, or municipal government environment.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and government-specific software.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize under pressure, and adapt to changing regulations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft professional correspondence and summaries.
