Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official federal records with meticulous attention to compliance with 5 CFR Part 793
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and executive scheduling for senior leadership
- Process personnel actions, travel authorizations, and procurement documentation through VA systems
- Prepare complex correspondence, reports, and briefing materials using advanced MS Office Suite
- Oversee facility access control systems and classified document handling protocols
- Analyze administrative workflows to identify process improvement opportunities
- Provide cross-functional support during audits and compliance reviews
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (5 CFR 332.401)
- Minimum 3 years federal administrative experience or equivalent GS-5 level
- Proficiency in VA-specific systems (e.g., VISTA, LMS) and Adobe Acrobat
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Expert knowledge of federal regulations (FAR, DFARS, VA directives)
- Professional certification (e.g., CCA, FAC-C) preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
