Responsibilities
- Manage and organize complex federal records and filing systems in compliance with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) standards.
- Prepare, review, and distribute correspondence, reports, and official documents with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of budget proposals, travel vouchers, and procurement documentation for field office operations.
- Coordinate internal meetings and assist visitors with inquiries regarding federal programs and services.
- Monitor compliance with agency policies and procedures, identifying areas for process improvement.
- Provide administrative support to program managers, including scheduling and data entry.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. (High school diploma or GED with 4 years of progressive experience may be substituted for education).
- Experience: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-5 level (e.g., experience performing administrative support, document processing, or office management).
- Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government-specific databases (e.g., eOPF, FMHSS).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
