Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, memos, and official documents, ensuring timely responses.
- Coordinate complex schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements for senior staff and executive leadership.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems in strict compliance with federal record-keeping regulations.
- Assist with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and other administrative inquiries.
- Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for executive leadership and inter-agency meetings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a professional image.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive administrative experience in a government or corporate setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with government-specific software (e.g., eOPF, FAMIS).
- Strong understanding of federal procurement policies, compliance standards, and office management best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
