Responsibilities
- Manage and organize complex office files and records in strict compliance with federal standards and regulations.
- Prepare, edit, and proofread a wide variety of correspondence, memoranda, and reports for senior leadership.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and meeting schedules, including room bookings and agenda preparation.
- Receive and screen incoming communications, routing inquiries to the appropriate personnel with efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of budget requests, financial reports, and procurement documentation.
- Maintain the office's inventory of supplies and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Answer high-volume phone lines and greet visitors with a professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- At least one year of specialized experience performing administrative support or office management duties.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for most federal positions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a suitable background investigation and a favorable security clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and document processing software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret and apply federal regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing deadlines effectively.
