Responsibilities
- Manage veteran records and ensure compliance with federal regulations (HIPAA, VA guidelines)
- Process administrative tasks including data entry, document scanning, and file maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and their families via phone and in-person
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support veteran care programs
- Generate reports and maintain accurate databases using federal systems
- Assist with scheduling and calendar management for departmental operations
- Support quality assurance initiatives through documentation reviews
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (mandatory for federal positions)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in government or regulated environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal background clearance
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays (8am-4pm)
