Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications with 99% accuracy within SLA requirements
- Manage confidential records using VA-approved digital systems
- Coordinate multi-agency communications and document submissions
- Support outreach events and veteran engagement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with federal privacy regulations (HIPAA/VA guidelines)
- Generate performance reports using Microsoft Office Suite
- Train new staff on administrative procedures and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years federal administrative experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- VA records management certification preferred
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with veterans' affairs systems (e.g., VBMS)
- Valid Oregon driver's license for occasional travel
