Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough eligibility reviews for veterans seeking federal benefits and services.
- Process incoming applications and claims with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate complex eligibility requirements to veterans in a clear, empathetic, and professional manner.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal privacy laws and VA policy guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claims and case statuses in the VA Information Systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve complex benefit discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Public Administration, Social Work) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, benefits administration, or case management.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn VA-specific software systems quickly.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
