Responsibilities
- Analyze and investigate federal claims to ensure strict compliance with established policies and federal regulations.
- Conduct detailed reviews of financial documents, records, and supporting evidence to identify discrepancies or potential fraud.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation detailing claim findings, recommendations, and final resolutions.
- Communicate effectively with claimants, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to resolve disputes and explain complex regulatory policies.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date case files and databases, ensuring all information is secure and organized.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procedural improvements to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Stay current on changes in federal laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in claims processing, auditing, financial analysis, or a related federal government role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and apply regulatory guidelines accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and federal case management software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
