Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' compensation claims with 99% accuracy
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations (38 CFR) and VA policies
- Utilize VA systems for data entry, documentation, and case tracking
- Communicate professionally with veterans, families, and stakeholders
- Prepare detailed reports for compliance audits and performance metrics
- Collaborate with medical and legal teams for complex case resolution
- Train on new federal procedures and system updates
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years' claims processing or federal administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software
- Knowledge of federal claims processing procedures preferred
- Ability to pass federal background investigation and fingerprinting
- Strong attention to detail with zero-error tolerance for financial data
- Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in secure federal facility with restricted access
