Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate retirement/disability claims with 100% accuracy per federal regulations
- Review medical documentation and financial records for eligibility determination
- Communicate claim status to applicants via secure federal channels
- Maintain strict compliance with SSA privacy and data security protocols
- Generate detailed case documentation in federal claims systems
- Collaborate with attorneys and medical consultants on complex cases
- Participate in weekend shift rotations (Sat-Sun) with weekday backup support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in claims processing or federal compliance
- Proficiency in federal claims systems (e.g., eView, MSSICS)
- Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory detail
- Excellent written communication for official documentation
- Available to work Saturdays and Sundays (8am-5pm)
- U.S. citizenship required
