Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal regulations (HIPAA, VA directives, OSHA) in healthcare facilities
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps
- Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance documentation and training programs
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations with corrective action plans
- Collaborate with legal and HR teams on regulatory updates and policy implementation
- Generate compliance reports for senior leadership and regulatory bodies
- Train staff on federal compliance requirements and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of compliance experience in federal/government healthcare
- Deep knowledge of VA regulations, HIPAA, and federal healthcare standards
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or equivalent certification
