Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal VA regulations and compliance standards in veteran benefit processing
- Review and validate veteran documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and veteran advocacy groups for seamless service delivery
- Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive veteran records and personal information
- Conduct compliance audits and prepare detailed regulatory reports
- Train staff on updated federal compliance protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in federal regulatory compliance or veteran services
- Proficiency with VA systems (VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, VA directives)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Exceptional attention to detail and documentation skills
- US citizenship required
- Valid Texas driver's license
