Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations and VA policies across healthcare operations
- Conduct compliance audits and investigations for 15+ medical facilities
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for compliance gaps
- Collaborate with legal teams on regulatory updates and policy changes
- Train staff on HIPAA, OSHA, and federal procurement standards
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for congressional oversight
- Manage vendor compliance certifications and contract renewals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- 5+ years of federal compliance or regulatory experience
- Active VA security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Expertise in healthcare compliance frameworks (JCAHO, CMS)
- Advanced knowledge of federal procurement laws (FAR, DFARS)
- Professional certification (CPACC, CHC, or CCEP) preferred
- Proficient in GSA Advantage and VA contracting systems
- Demonstrated experience with federal grant management
