Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews of healthcare facilities
- Interpret and implement federal regulations (HIPAA, VA directives)
- Develop corrective action plans for compliance deficiencies
- Train staff on regulatory requirements and best practices
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership
- Collaborate with legal and policy teams on regulatory updates
- Monitor industry trends and emerging compliance risks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal compliance experience
- Active VA or federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Knowledge of 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with compliance software (e.g., RSA Archer)
