Responsibilities
- Patrol: Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of federal facilities and assigned perimeters to ensure safety and security.
- Access Control: Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials of all visitors and employees in accordance with federal protocols.
- Incident Reporting: Document all incidents, suspicious activities, and observations accurately in daily logs using electronic reporting systems.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms, fire emergencies, or medical incidents following established emergency response procedures.
- Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with site supervisors and law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all federal regulations, company policies, and OSHA safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Background: Must pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal history and drug screening, required for federal access.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods. Candidates must be able to pass a physical agility test.
- License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, or facility management is highly preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
