Responsibilities
- Maintain strict access control at facility entry points and conduct regular patrols of interior and exterior areas.
- Monitor high-definition surveillance systems (CCTV) and alarm panels continuously during the night shift.
- Respond immediately to alarms, disturbances, suspicious activity, and emergency situations.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and log entries accurately and promptly to ensure accountability.
- Conduct random bag checks and enforce strict security protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Ensure the facility remains secure during the night hours to protect government assets.
Qualifications
- Certified Security Professional (CSP) or equivalent experience required.
- Must be able to pass a thorough government background check and drug screening.
- Must possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain alert during night hours.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
