Responsibilities
- Patrol: Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of the premises.
- Access Control: Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain safety.
- Reporting: Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment damage, theft, found articles, medical emergencies, or personnel problems.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations as needed, including medical emergencies or security breaches.
- Communication: Communicate with police or fire departments in cases of emergency.
- Customer Service: Provide a friendly and professional demeanor to clients and visitors at all times.
- Compliance: Enforce company policies and safety regulations strictly.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Certification: Valid Texas Security License or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience: Previous security or law enforcement experience is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk long distances, and perform physical tasks as required.
- Skills: Excellent verbal communication and observation skills.
- Background: Must be able to pass a thorough background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Reliable transportation and flexible availability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
